Erick, if you look at your waste gate real good you can determine which direction it opens and closes. the actuator i got for you is adjustable to a certain limit. just hook it up and make sure it is pulled all the way up it should be closed. i seriously doubt someone who had the truck b4 you had a backwards waste gate installed. give it a shot what you got to loose. besides if it was wired up when you got it i would bet it was probably wired closed,,,,,i bet they were trying to get more boost out of it not less imo.

X2 i just hooked all mine and with a little turn of that adjustment nut it was all good.... up is closed down is open, just hook the accuator rod to the wastegate arm and pull up, there will be a bit of resistance with the accuator but get it up and throw in the two bolts and hook up the hose and you'll be blowin coal in no time. and hows the clutch problem coming along?

haven't had time to check into the clutch. did anyone look at my pictures? I know which way the lever needs to go but if the lever pushes downward it won't move the wastegate. When those two nuts on the exhaust manifold were missing where the turbo bolts to it pulled it apart.

The first one is as far foreward it will go and the second as far back toward the firewall it would go. The lever was wired back like in the second picture.

Erick, i guess i dont understand what your trying to say. i see your pics show your wastegate lever in the up and down position. but your saying the little flap on the inside doesnt move?????????? if not then there is something sheered off in there than. or it was sheered and someone repaired it backwards. look into the waistegate. yea you gotta disassemble your exhaust and see. that is the only thing i can think of. that a pin or something was sheered and the repaired it with the lever in the 180deg out. does that make any cents???? i got an extra waistgast im gonna dig out and look.and get back with ya. sorry this is taking so long.

no see from what diagrams and pictures show is that my lever appears to be off. should it not be about straight back pointing left? and straight down for down? thats what pictures have shown. my acuator rods moves up and down and this only pushes the lever down and the rod bends outward it will not move the wastegate. i can move it fine by hand and hear it slap shut and open if i move by hand.
