Hello again. I have a pacesetter header on my 1990 2.4l MM that just connects to the stock exhaust without the cat. So now I want to do it the right way.
I was wondering what would the ideal diameter for my new exhaust pipe. Also im reconsidering installing a CAT cause the fumes are just terrible since my truck runs very rich.
So, any suggestions???

TIA

2.25 " dia should work gret on the 2.4; I run that size into a high flow converter to a flowmaster 44 2.25 in /dual 2" out to gibson tips. To see it, look at the pics in my gallery.

If you are running very rich, you'll ruin that cat in a big hurry. Fix the mixture and, if you have no emission test in your area, skip the cat.
