With a New Top Speed.
Image
Te record is 154.691MPH. average of 2 runs. I got greedy on my tune for the second run and took out too much fuel.

Seen this before? Engine mods from a year ago. New twin disc clutch is responsible for the speed gains.

It will never go fast enough, you know that! I'm going to work on the Aero package and gearing now, gotta turn 7500RPM to do these speeds. We'll see how long this motor holds out.

You don't need a Speedo, just a good tach and an Excel Spread sheet to calculate your speed.

mph = rpm x tire diameter / differential gear ratio x 336/ transmission gear ratio
and for the run of the mill Mighty Max
Diff=3.909, 1st gear=4.33, 2nd gear=2.355, 3rd gear=1.509, 4th gear=1, 5th gear=0.827

Tire Diameter is calculated with, tire diameter = 2 x section width x aspect ratio / 2540 + rim diameter

Mine is 225 section width, 60 aspect ratio, and a 15 in Rim diameter for 25.63 Tire diameter( 225/R60-15)

check here for pix of the 2 blocks I've been thru and various progressions of the builds over the years.

Very nice. You shound drop a build thread in the build section. This site has been in need of a good turbo guy.
My main problem is I have no idea what gear ratios the Tremic T56 LS has in it. There was work done to it befor I got it. All I know is it was fine inside and the shift forks were upgraded. So all I had the trany shop do was reseal after they looked at it. I know the rear end is a 4-11.

Mike Congrats!!!! Still looks good. Do your Aero Plans include skirts front and and rear to cut down air under your rig?

Yes, fuel rail isn't a limitation, much to AEM's Chagrin.
