yea on the auto trans ther is a temp sensor in your intake that allows the trans to go into O/D......check under your carb i think it was there on my raider. the switch wil just go to ground when heated so if you sucpect that is it just ground that wire and see if it goes into O/D...

Thanks, I'll give it a try I've got nothing to lose:)

EDIT: Might have to head back to the dealership, they wanted to drop the trany oil pan to change filter if needed but also to tighten bands... can anybody give me a rough idea of cost so i don't get gouged again.. reason is there is slipping between 1 ans 2nd gear.
