heres the deal, i swapped a g52 into my macro with a 4 speed then finally (many thanks to kerby) i ended up with a 5 speed to slap in her. i bought a new clutch kit and got the tranny in but now ive got 3.545 gears and a 5 speed and its eatin me up in town with the high gear ratio and i still have no pick up power for jumpin on the highways...would it be worth my time to throw a 3.909 rear under the truck or what. im not runnin large tires just 225 60 16s on aluminum wheels

If you are looking for a little more torque for that extra get up then I think swapping to a 3.90 might solve your problem. I think there is too little of gear with my 5speed and 3.90, so I'm looking to go to 3.545 for a little lower highway rpm.

Glad to hear it, this weekend the 2wd is getting the 3.545s and the LSD for the time being until I get the red one running.
