I'm just wondering if you guys could give me some pointers/tips on taking out my tranny (5spd). I have to replace my clutch release bearing and I've never done any transmission work before so any help that would make it easier on me would be much appreciated.
or perhaps a step by step

If you've got a 2wd and if its anything like the starion, its cake work. Take the shift knob off. Take out the driveshaft. The bolts are 14mm and the nuts are 12mm. Disconnect the speedo cable, I use a pair of channel locks if its stuck, the neutral safety switch (theres a plug somewhere down there), and the clutch cable (starion was hydro clutch so I'm not sure about how to). Put a jack under the trans. Loosen the 4 bolts on the bellhousing 2 on top and 2 on the bottom. I dont remember the size im going to say 12mm. Pull the trans towards the rear.

all you guys keep forgetting to tell him to support the motor because letting it hang on the mounts is not only dangerous you can break your water necks on the radiator and damage your motor mounts.
