First off why are you wanting to go hydro?

Havent seen one done yet on a D50, heard alot of talk about it.

Gassers came with cables the diesels and v6's came with hydros

And BTW your shifters not gonna line up in stock location unless you replace the quest tailshaft with a d50 one.

Cable is the way to go for the clutch. You will also have to modify the tranny tunnel by the gas pedal if you change out the auto pedals for manual pedals- the auto tranny tunnel is much wider that the manual tunnel and it makes it tight to get from gas to brake. I know this from 1st hand experience; you'll also need the tube that goes through the firewall for the cable. reinforce the firewall where the cable goes through so it doesn't flex when engaging the clutch.

Pretty sure not even the drift truck (found at www.thedrifttruck.com) doesnt use a hydro clutch but its your rig.

Best of luck, gonna need pedal assembly, firewall stuff, master cylinder for cluth and resivor, otta get ya close.

Also migth need a new trans cross member, and driveshaft. At least my friend did on his 88 2.0 auto. The auto was musch longer than the d-50 trans.

Yes, the trans crossmembers are all different, as well as the front half of the drive shaft. You will need to change the speedo cable and make sure you have the right speedo gear to match the gears and speedo (85 or 120). There is a jumper you must install to eliminate the neutral safety switch, or the truck won't start. Good luck.

I have a newly rebuilt KM132 hydro tranny sitting in my garage. It's a really rare transmission but I think it's exactly what your looking for. This is no POS tranny either, Warme had it rebuilt for me last year, but I decided to go in a different direction. Feal free to give me a call at 801-722-5517 or 435-227-0569 for more info. Spence
