Transmision issue?

Postby lowasugo » Wed Apr 29, 2009 1:32 pm

I got the weirdest thing happening with my truck(go figure, lol) Everytime I am shifting from 2nd to 3rd and 3rd to 4th , theres a kind of wobble in the rear. Its almost like the rear spring was broken ( not it) Its like the back end moves over a few inches and back imediately , real strange , any ideas?

I would raise the ass of the truck in the air, and put jackstands under the bumper to hold it up. Let somebody ease through the gears while you watch the rearend and see if you can see something moving around that shouldn't be.
If you love something, set it free. If it comes back to you it's yours to keep.If it doesn't come back, hunt it down..and kill it

What shapeis the tranny mount in? It could be "shifting" around a bit when shifting.
