hey, would be nice to have better traction. richmondgear.com/ maybe they would build one for these trucks if there is enough interest. click on tech support to let them know we want them. what years use the same carrier and axle splines, 79-89 or more?

hey, has anyone got any feedback from richmond? anyone have any leads on a better setup? sure would be nice to get better traction.

hey, after some research, they make one for a ford 8". very similar to the mitsu, uses the stock side gears. anyone happen to have an 8" out of the vehicle to get some specs? or an 8" side gear to compare?

Whats wrong with finding a stock LSD at the j/y? Or welding it or just axle swapping it??

ARB, makes lockers for em for 1000, but dont offer em for the rear 8in mitsu, its kind of a dead technology. Lockrite makes em for the front 8in that came in v6 rigs but they run a different spline count.

Your pissing in the wind with this thread IMO.

hey, haven't found an lsd, welding not good on the street.trying to find a solution without throwing a lot of money/time at it.

okay, next step, make a prototype. friend of mine has a small shop, so here we go, be back when we get something solid.
