John's 100% correct! It was me rambling on and on about phantom grills! lol
Back in the day, GodFatherCustoms / Trenz used to sell them for $300+ dollars.
They where pre-trimmed, but still required mods to the truck to work (install properly)
I found that by scoring full-size blazer versions, they are around $100 dollars,
AND, best of all, they're HUGE. Enough to center up, and custom trim to hood / bumper combo's.
The only down fall is the mounting tabs on the back side... They will have to come off.
To mode the grill (aluminum) an AC volt TIG welder would be needed.
Quick fix...
METAL ZIP-TIES! Napa sells them.
I used a few to connect the vertical (hidden) bars to some holes in the front end of the truck.
They can't be seen, and they hold great! 10" or 12" in packs of 10 are like $10 bones btw.
