Will buckets from macro cab fit regular cab

Postby FordTruckMan » Sat Jul 24, 2010 7:13 am

So I'm planning on getting some buckets from a macro cab to put into my regular cab. I'm assuming its a direct bolt on job but I could be wrong. Anyone know for sure if this will work.

I put Macrocab seats in my standard cab. The track is 2 inches to long. I cut the mounts off the rear of the track and moved them forward to make them work. I also had to put a 1inch piece of tubing on the inboard side of the track to raise the seat so it would sit level. They will bolt right in after the modifications. Before you go this route though, try to swap the seat tracks from the bench seat to the bucket seat to see if that will work. It may save you a bunch of work.

Thanks guys, and yes I do plan on hanging on to my old bench seat because believe it or not it is in perfect shape. Not a tear or stain on it at all so I'm not letting it go.
