Ok all i have recently got the correct A/C bracket and pump for my 4d55. and i tell ya its no fun to hunt down some of these parts. but it is a fresh rebuilt york ac compressor and btw it sounds cool. but back to my question. in the wiring diagram i have for A/C it shows a thermostatically controlled system. when i turn on the A/C it does what it is supposed to but it gets cold and i mean damn cold i put a them probe in the vent and the air comes out at 35deg. hell yea sound good dont it but,,,,,i dont think it should be that cold. am i putting excessive load on my compressor? is that thermostat in the wiring supposed to be in the vent and regulating the clutch assy to maintain a certain temp? i haven't "froze" up yet but i think it is a possibility. and input would be great. on the up side if i run a hose from the duct to my cold Coors light my mountains should stay blue lol
edit,,,,, i did get my new fan resistor put in too and i have all 4 fan speeds now too so i really worry if i run the fan on low for freezing up and doing compressor damage.
