Demodernizing an 87 2.0 G63B

Demodernizing an 87 2.0 G63B

Postby abeemanator » Tue Oct 05, 2010 6:22 pm

I wanted to know what all would need to be done to "demodernize" or in other words, get rid of the computer control on my truck, I was thinking something like a Briggs and Stratton engine, no vacuum/computer controlled carb and ignition, but any way I have already pulled my ECM and the truck runs the same, I was also wondering about getting a new ignition (Not the key, the device)
Truck Specs:
1987 Mitsubishi Mighty Max
G63B engine with stock carb
5 speed stick shift

Thanks

This one on ebay says it only fits the 1979-1984 trucks, but will it still work?

Well, I cant get mine out of the driveway as I don't have a license yet, and I don't have insurance
