Well...What I also failed to mention is that I spent a 1/2 hour staring at the truck in my garage last night..Literally just standing there and staring...duh! Parting with it would definitely sting and I have grown fond of her.

Wife doesn't understand but I put it into perspective for her when I told her to start throwing away the shoes she doesn't wear...Some 30 pairs of shoes litter our walk in closet. She just sat there and said nothing - POINT MADE! lol

Of the D-50? I can take pictures but would have to roll it out of the garage to do so...

The Datsun will get posted this weekend. It is raining like hell here in WA so they might not be the greatest....but I will snap a bunch of both and post them up here.....I have some in photobucket...Let me dig them out...

I would like to say congrats on you being able to maintain the D50 however you still have to lose a toy. With one income and four kids, I don't think we have a ratio for income to debt.lmao! My truck is always on the backburner and never gets love. I seriously hope everything works out for you! Question, (maybe I'm being a retard) aren't you the same guy that had the very sexy 2.6 buildup on the old site?

Mike, that black 620 is probably one of the most beautiful minitrucks I've ever seen!

John, that was me. The 2.6 is complete and all that needs to be done is the engine bay prep, paint, tuck etc and the drivetrain is ready to go.

I've seen that black 620 before on other forums. There is a large NW Chapter with a couple hundered members here in Washington. The entire Datsun crowd shows once a month. There are PL411's. 510's, 610's, 710's and 810's, 520, 620 and 720 trucks and then the awesome Z lineup - 240, 260 280...That truck has a lot of fans. Mine is very similar minus the glossy paint and wheels. I will have pics of the beauty up tonight. I have priced paint and interior and will have that done after the first of the year. If it's going to be my DD then I want it to be 100% cherry inside and out.

I've already purchased the uncracked dash and center console, brand new door panels and a new windshield...Parts are everywhere.

Alright...Here ya go...Now, before we get all carried away with the smart ass comments and flaming I want to say f*ck you in advance....LMAO...I know the flames are super gay. I know the mirrors are super gay. Don't worry your little heads because that is all going away. I am goint to be taking care of some minor surface rust and painting it the original Datsun Orange with 4 coats base and 4 coats of clear. I will be adding some peral to the paint for effect. The interior will be completely redone (I have all the parts) and it will be all black. It will also go in for a Linux spray in bedliner. I will probably change the rims. they are wrapped in brand new rubber so they are fine for now. The engine bay is in pretty nice shape and will get some minor detailing when it goes in for paint. The pictures don't show it well but the whole rig is lowered 2" and it has 2" dual exhaust from the muffler. I have the chrome bumperettes but would need to move the exhaust to have them installed. It will be cool when it is done. I am going to drive it the way it sits for awhile before I dive in. I need to sell the car first.
