ugh alright so the last thing i had to do to finish getting the ram running was to retime it. Got that. all i had to do was take the tensioner off enough and the camshaft gear off and slide the timing chain over to the correct spot. well while i was getting tools and helping another classmate with engine work on his integra 3 of my other classmates decided to "help". well went over to check and finish everything and i asked hows it going guys and they said oh we got it. that was right when i tried to spin the crank and all it did was move about a quarter turn then like locked up. found out i think cylinder 3 was running into the exhaust valve and wouldnt turn more. once i figured there mistake and yelled at them about there stupidity they all of course said we can fix it. 30 min later i look over and they had left it. went over to check it out. they had done nothing! if anything they screwed it over more! they had apparently given up and said that it was fine. once again i yelled at all of them for there stupidity and told the smart ass cocky one off. now i get to pull the counter balance stuff, the timing chain tensioner off, and the cam and crankshaft gearing and chain off and start from scratch! lesson learned never let untrained idiots within 30 ft of your truck. you do and who knows what problems you will get.

Ya I hate being one of the only students in the entire class that actually knows what they are doing. Gets kind of annoying having to help my teachers train the other people on what to do.
