Well I had some problems.

Pulled the Turbo and Exhaust Manifold, #2 doesn't look good.
I had done a Leak-down test and was pushing coolant out the top of the rediator.

Pulled the Head, and found this!

#2 &#3 got steam cleaned. you can see the head gasket leakage to the 3 closest coolant passages

No water in the oil though. caught it before it got horrible.

So how much do you need to weigh in your class? Do you need to have a full metal bed? Or can you lighten it up. You can pull the inner walls and remove 8+ Lbs

Weight is actually a good thing in LSR, it's not so much about acceleration, and at bonneville you need the traction. At Bonneville, a lot of guys used lead pigs to add weight, even the bikers lead fill the swingarms.
