Its the 2.6L model. It only has 40,000 original miles and I got it for $2000. Its probably going to need new tires soon because it was sitting for a while and the tires are old. I think it has some sort of vacuum leak at the brake booster because it bogs as you press the brakes and sometimes stalls when coming to a stop.

If it sat for a long time the diaphram in the booster might have cracked. easy enough fix. you can get one from www.rockauto.com for around $90
And welcome to the site :)

40k miles? WOW! Damn good score.
If it's been sitting for a long time, make sure no mice made nests out of your wiring, too. Or bees nests in the ducts, etc, etc.
Welcome aboard!

The haynes manual says not to take apart the brake booster because it requires extra tools. How do I actually replace the booster diaphragm. I remove the booster and take it apart? Also, does carb cleaner hurt the rubber hoses and stuff so I can search for a vacuum leak? I will try to get pics soon.

You just replace the hole thing. Unbolt the master and pull the 4 nuts in the cab. Forget trying to just replace the diaphragm.

carb clean isnt good for the hoses but it should be okay unless theyre already in sad shape.
