Hey Guys. I am the proud owner of a (mostly) stock 1987 dodge power ram 50. It is my first vehical and i couldnt be happyer. sadly tho the previoues owner has replaced my carb with a differant one. it sounds horrable but gives me a little more power. so i was wondering what kind of carb will give me a good crisp sound add the power but not kill my wallet.

the weber is the only aftermarket one that they make for our trucks. as far as stock goes, they are pretty much crap unless you can get them perfect. but over time they have all kinds of issues.

Only choices are remanufactured stock mikuni carb(ebay or google) or a weber.

I bought a rebuilt mikuni years ago, not satisfied with it, will be buying a new weber with the carter fuel pump recommended. The mikuni has a non rebuildable part the gathers trash, hurts its performance, the the early emission crap is just that.

Hi guy.. Weber is best to all the others because i also use specially Weber its have high capacity to all the others which is good for the carb.But i do not know what is the original price of the Weber any body tell me?

This is the only choice you have. You will waste money fucking with the factory carb. They are essentially un-rebuildable. Walk away from anyone who says they can be rebuilt. They cannot be rebuilt with any degree of success.

This is where I bought mine from. The prices are decent and the customer service is OK too. You need the carb and the adapter kit.
