I need advise on this one.

I just remembered I have 2 electric fuel pumps in the garage from an old car we sold ages ago. I don't know much about them and I was wondering if I can use any of them for the weber I installed on my truck.

The first one is this. Its a Mitsubishi brand and if I recall correctly, it will stop at a certain time when you turn the key but not start the engine.

Other one is a Facet brand. I don't know anything about it.

So, can I use any of them and if so, how do I install it?

Thanks.

Make some jumper leads and test them to make sure they work first hate to hear you install one or both only to find out they dont work.

I used a Carter inline pump mounted to the frame. You can check out a picture of it in my album.

Yes, had jumper cables and both pumps still work fine.

So, basically, electric pumps need to be installed on the frame and not inside the engine bay?

Yes it should be mounted to the frame and near the back as close to the tank as possible. If you mounted it in the engine bay it would be extremely noisy since it is always running. I would recommend going with a pressure regulator with a gauge just in case you don't know much pressure the pump is actually producing. I have a Weber carb on mine which only needs like 3.5 to 4 psi of fuel pressure. I just added a regulator to mine because the Carter I was using was sending out like 5.5 psi which was causing my carb to flood out and also killing my gas mileage.
