when you weld up the 4g63 intake for rwd what do you do with the egr ports? will it work being its now gona be away from the throttle body? also if anyone has good pics of some already modified that would be great.

You dont do anything with the egr ports, it still work fine and functions as normal. There should be a pic or two in my build thread \/

ok is there a reason you added that extension pipe to it?

No just to make it easier to run the intercooler piping when I was running the sidemount since I ran it in front of the motor before. It's not needed

My manifold had the flange cut from one side and welded on the opposite side. I'm running a block off plate for the egr, and a aluminum plate was welded to fill in the gap of the gaping hole. Lol.

If you need to smog the engine. Have someone TIG weld it and make it look as close to stock as possible. In California it won't fly. Just because you moved it. It's just dumb crap like that that makes this state suck.

ya i moved out of california 4 years ago i dont miss smog at all here.
