Wondering if there's a way to figure the DRAW in both amps and volts for my electrical system? Like fire up the truck, turn EVERYTHING on, calculate draw/supply at idle and at RPM kinda thing. Then do the same for just lights, just stereo, et al..

Would be rather helpful...

A clamp on or an inline amp meter would give you the total draw under various loads - get a clampon one at harbor freight. Voltage drop is harder to calculate as it depends on the alternator output and battery capacity. Remenber with DC circuits, the lower the voltage, the higher the current draw to make up the difference. P=I*E - P is power in watts, I is current in amps, and E is voltage.

the good old Sun Vat 40. It will do all you need. I want one.
