What is the difference between the KM132 and KM145 manual transmissions in the 1980 D-50?

Thanks!

km132 should be a 4spd for behind a g52b 2.0; km145 for a 2.6 g54b. These may or may not be interchangeable - the manual says no, but I have known people that did interchange them.

Were those the only 2 trannys in the first gens? regardless of engine

also a 3 spd auto based on the chrysler 904 - was a narrow bolt pattern and was available on either engine - the autos are interchangeable between motors.

Mainly I'm thinking of m/t's. My 94 is an auto but my first gens are both manuals but one is a cable clutch 2wd 2.6 and the other is a hydro clutch 4x4 2.3L

the 2.3 for the turbo diesel will only fit a 4d55 - the 2.6 will fit a 2.6 wide block (79 - 86 auto blocks are narrow blocks) or wide block 2.0 and 2.4 motors. There also was a 5spd narrow block tranny that was on 83 - 86 base ram50/mmm trucks - its the one people use with a 4g63 swap if they don't go the adaptor route.
