Hey guys!! I am looking to get info on a truck we use down in Haiti. I am in the states and talking with guys down in Haiti about this truck trying to come up with some parts. They tell me its a Mitsubishi L028, not a mighty max or anything else. It does have a 4D55 turbo diesel. I am looking for a few parts for it but I'm not sure on the truck itself. Maybe all I need is the 4D55 to get the parts. Any help would be wonderful. We are looking for a radiator cap, power steering cap, a/c compressor, turbo, filters, air filter lid, fan belts, fan, negative battery lead to alternator, and maybe glow plugs. Thanks for any help. Some of those parts seem simple enough to purchase at the local auto store. A walk through a wrecking yard could find you a few other parts. If all else fails, maybe a dealer could have some also. Possible someone here also could have some parts laying around that would be willing to sell.
Does it look like this?

L028 just means it's a Turbo Diesel other then that its still a Mighty Max.

Is the motor in a '85 2300 diesel the same as a 4d55?

Yes it is - the 4d55 is 2300 cc displacement.

RockAuto.com? eBay.co.uk? Mitsubishi parts from Kingston if Port-au-Prince can't get them? I know the 4D55 engine was popular in Brazil.

Can someone send me some photos of how the fuel lines are connected from fuel tank to fuel filter to fuel injection pump? My 1985 Mitsubishi Mighty Max Turbo Diesel also has a stanadyne fuel filter and I'm not sure why. It's hard finding diagrams of the fuel setup.

This is an ancient thread, might be better to restart one.
