Get something like this, it will save you a lot of time as everything is labeled.http://www.summitracing.com/parts/sum-890021/overview/

It will be tough to find a prewired kit for these trucks. Do you know how to solder wires together (tinning) and have tools like a Kronus type wire stripper and wire dikes? You can add whatever options you want like power windows if you're starting from scratch. You'll just have to scrounge around for window motors that fit.
This is a Rat Shack branded Kronus tool, it's a very useful tool for wiring.

Or a painless harness if you need the fuse panel. My system took 6 months to build from scratch.

Maybe look for a carbed UJT (Universal Japanese Truck) that came with power windows in the junkyard, grab the window motors and engine and body harness. Wiring would be similar enough on a UJT to adapt with a little splicing to our trucks.

Find a 1st or 2nd gen montero and get the wiring for the power windows - get the regulators as well. The 1st gen power regs bolt right into the same place as the manual ones on a 1st gen D-50.

not sure - I never got around to pulling the door panels on the 88 I had to see if they are the same. Thought I saw that someone had a 2nd gen that they did a pwr window swap on here...
