grille emblems

So my 94 has no emblem on the grille. I'd like to add one. I'm curious if the emblem clips over the smooth grille or the grille has to be made for it? I know newer cars the grille has to be made for the emblem to attach.

My grill has this part that would accept an emblem. Look inside towards the middle, the emblem is screwed on the grill from the back through the 2 holes into the emblem.

Mine has a bar down the center behind the grilles that has 2 holes in one vertical slit and an offset hole in the vertical slit above that. Would that be it?

sweet. Had my parts guy order me a emblem and screws today. All of it less than $20 my cost.

Cool. Glad you got your emblem. Tossed my old grill, maybe I should have kept my emblem.
