chevy 350 in a d50

What mounts are you guys using to to put a v8 in one of these trucks? Looking to be very low budget on this as I already have a motor and trans. I also have everything to do an s10 swap including the headers, just got this truck cheap and it has a good body and frame.

Hey jester, I imagine every one of the trucks with v8's here are going to be different on how they mounted it. They seem to be creative about all their V8 modifications and only thing in common is that they removed a 4 cylinder for a 8 power. Anyway, they respond to you soon as they see your post.

I Just made some mount extentions out of 1/2" x 3" flat bar welded to the factory front X-member.

But as mine is a SBF you might have to do something a little different.Hope this gives you an idea

kinda of what I was thinking. Might try to make my mount plates bolt in.
