1991 Mitsubishi Mighty Max 3.0L Engine Swap possibilties

I have a 1991 Mitsubishi Mighty Max 4x4, 3.0L with 5 speed. I'm not sure of specific engine(if it matters) as I only have the drivetrain to the vehicle as another vehicle body is sitting on top of it. If someone will tell me where to look on the engine I will look. I am curious as to upgrading the engine such as is it possible that the Mitsubishi 3000GT 3.0L twin turbo would bolt up to the transmission? I do not know a lot about Mitsubishi compatibility.
Or if thats not possible what upgrades are available for this engine such as camshaft, headers or anything like that?

yes that engine would bolt up to the transmission you have

4M40 swap! The intercooled version make 232 lb. ft of torque. The newer 4M41 with the variable geometry turbo has potential to make 330 lb. ft. of torque right out the box.

I believe the 4M4x form factor will bolt directly in to 3.0 engine mounts.
