Hey first off im new to posting my own thread. I have a 1994 mighty max which i love, currently im running 18" 6 spoke titan rims, ive got a set of 20" ns racing b-diggitys which I bought at pull a part for a cheap price with tires on them i pulled it off a 720 ,,, I just recently ordered 2.5" drop coils from belltech and 2" drop spindles from notorious.com im in the process of waiting on them to be shipped. Now my question is with the 2.5" drop coils and the 2" drop spindles will i have any issues of those 20's rubbing the tire rod ends or anything? The rim specs are 20x8.5 with a +35mm offset , the 18" titans have a +25mm offset. That is my question any help or advice is greatly appreciated

you should have no problem clearing the rod ends but you might hit the sway bar and link bars when the wheels are turned. You can replace the steering stops on the dropped spindles with longer ones.

The only reason i ask so many questions is my truck is setting at a buddys house in SC. All because the wheel bearings went out going down I-85 South and basically welded the race to the spindles and chewed the front tires flat

thats a nasty failure - sounds like nobody packed the wheel bearings since new. The wheels will not hit the tie rods, but like Fordubishi said, they will cause the inside of the tire to rub on the sway bar at full lock unless you adjust the steering stops. Keep in mind that if you adjust the stops out, the turning radius gets larger.

Rusty bishi - I have a carb for an 85, but for the 2.6 5 spd, and it needs rebuilt. Not sure if that would help you. PM me if interested.

Yeah i know that the bearings locking up is my fault but with my new job i hadnt had time to. Hell since they went out i ended up putting money in for drop spindles and the coils , so ya i will definetly look into the steering issue and yes man i love pull apart
