needle valve

anybody know where I can get a needle valve for a 1983 dodge ram d50 2.0l engine carburetor? when the float is up its supposed to stop the the fuel but it doesn't.

You could try www.rockauto.com . The have carb repair kits. I've bought stuff there before with no problems. They have an 800 number you can call to ask any questions about a product or place an order. You can order online also.

I did that and all thy had was universal needles.

You could try www.mitsubishiparts.net in Olympia Washington (Bruce Titus Automotive). They have an 800 number also. You would probably be best to call and speak with a parts expert there as I don't think you'll find a float needle in the online catalogue. I got an idle mixture screw for my Mikuni from them that way. Brand new OEM in the package.
