Turbo swap questions

Hey guys i have a 1989 dodge ram 50 with n/a 2.6l 5speed. My question is i came across a 1988 chrysler conquest tsi with a turbo 2.6l with 108,000 miles on it, will the motor mount up to my tranny if not will the conquest tranny fit under my truck without any issues? I would much appreciate any input in this matter.

the conquest motor will bolt up to the truck tranny no problem, as the trannies are the same case with a different tailshaft housing. The conquest tranny is built with stronger internals, and can be use with the tailshaft housing swap, and the hydraulic slave cylinder removed to allow for cable clutch activation. My friend trkdesigner is looking to do such a swap soon into his 81 Plymonth Arrow truck.

SWEET! sounds awesome i found a craiglist ad for that conquest for 750 bucks for the whole car but they had already sold it. DAMN would have been a sweet swap and fun to drive.
