new guy to the form. my name is Derek live in ohio I own a 88 d50. was looking up things about my truck and found this sight and thought it may com in usefull. I can post a pic of my truck soon as I figure out how. anyways just thought I would introduce myself.

Nice truck! What bumper is that? We're going to need as many pics of this truck as possible. What is your suspension setup?

I picked this truck up back in November and am redoing the whole thing. as of now it is bagged with 7 switches motor is kinda wore out at 198000 miles. the front bumper is a 94 Tacoma I like the look other than it dosent match the wheel arch on the fenders so I am going to try talk to the guys at grant customs and see about a custom one. so now the truck is under the knife interior is stripped. this weekend the motor is being pulled and tore down. going back to stock other than webber carb and header. the truck is a auto witch I am not changing other than having it flushed and cleaned. while the motor is being rebuilt the truck is going to my buddy in akron and being body dropped and painted. then back here for rebuild. hope to have it done by april if all goes well.

Nice looking truck, I've seen it online before I think. The bumper is actually a 92-95 Toyota 4-Runner bumper, used to have the same one on my single cab.

Damn this late model stuff LOL I had to make the picture Bigger to recognize it.
In the small version it looked like an S-10 ! LOL
But when I made it bigger, I could see it wasn't.
NICE looking truck though, for Sure !

Well I decided to wait on the body drop this year. So I am pulling the motor tomorrow and then dropping the truck off at my buddys for the body work and new paint Sunday.

Nice truck! Im running a 99 tacoma bumber on mine and the wheel arch not lining up kinda agrevated me to.
