I recently acquired a weber 32/36 from a 2.6l montero, and put it on my 2.0l g63b, with the normal AFM adjustments, I got the truck to idle at 750 RPM, but preferred 1000 RPM. Anyway since it was used I did not get the manual, and I need to know if you can adjust the AFM on the secondary at all, when I floor it and the 2nd barrel kicks in, it smokes, and stinks like heck. But if I give it 3/4 throttle, it hauls a$$, and doesn't smoke at all.

Thanks,
Andrew

P.S. I don't know what kind it is, it has the electric choke though.

Sounds like the secondary jet is too large and the accelerator pump is set for too much of a shot of fuel. The model numbers are stamped on the carb near the intake mounting flange - probably a 32/36 dfev or dgev. To set it up right, you really need a book on Webers - not hard to do once you know how it works - there are several out there and all are good when it comes to these carbs.

I just looked and it says 32 36 DFAV.
