Does anyone have pics of our trucks, either 1st or 2nd Gen, with a Cali Rake? Wondering how it would look. I have a 2/2.5 drop so it's about a 1" rake right now. I thought about throwing the drop spindles on and maybe 1" blocks or fiberglass leafs.

The "Cali Rake" is lower in front than in back, or is that something else? I can't tell. I'm going for the old school 1980s look, low in the front, high enough to show a little differential in the rear.

Cali rake is riding front high, like with air bags and such. You just want that muscle car rake

Cali is nose up. Lifted, lowered, bagged, juiced, donk (even though that is more of a south style).... whatever...

Then life or the terminology anyway has changed since I grew up in Cali.
ALL of our cars, mini trucks, hell even VW Bugs were lower in the front than in the back.
The Lowriders were the ones with their asses dragging. LOL

But, now "Cali Style Rake" means the front is up huh ??? Ok, well I've seen a lot of it around.
But I still don't think it looks good. LOL
All my stuff is Low ,,, but it's either level, (flat) or slightly ass up. {just like my girlfriend} :lmao:

Well most vehicles come with the ass end a little higher anyways, so makes no sense to call it cali-style

A little more rake than this. What is your truck sitting at and how is it dropped?

Great looking truck, BTW.

The truck has 2.5 inch drop in the front and 4 inch in the rear, the truck islow because it has 750- 800 lbs of tile in the back

It has Dropped Spindles and Belltech Dropped Coils in the Front, and a Dropped Leaf in the rear.
(I'm going to do a build thread on it as soon as I have some time) ugh.

And as it sits in that picture, it's on the stock wheels, with 195/75-14s and it can only go straight. LOL
(damn you Pennyman for always being right) LOL

Just waiting for my 17's to get here, then we'll be good to go ,,, and turn ! LOL
And Thank You !

33 years with the same vehicle means you learn things, sometimes the hard way...LOL
