what is the difference between the 4g63 and the 4g63b in the trucks?

well all trucks are sohc, the 4g63 came in sohc or dohc. I think most 4g63s are fuel injected compared to the 63b which is fuel injected.

I believe the b is code for RWD version.

The truck motors are g63b, a sohc carburated 12 valve motor. No trucks state side came with a 16 valve motor in them as a g63b.
