New to some with pictures

Some here know me already and you that don't, I'm Rick. Been screwing around with this truck for seven years. I've been doing steel fabrication for over 32 years in Portland Oregon.
I know people love pictures, I surely do. Yes I have the build pics but, this is where I am at.
It takes a lot of time to do these things, and if your lucky you won't burn out like I did.
I have much to do still!

I haven't been driving it much, only when I had the itch, i've been scratching that itch a lot in last week.
Oh you haven't seen them all, I have 2 cream puffs that drive around here, one is like new. I've tried to find that one.
I was at napa today taking back the clacking fuel pump they ordered me. They know who you are thats for sure.
It doesn't run like a four banger.

You have it correct it is a 4.3. Thank you all for the up lifting comments. I still have a lot to do and change around, just nickel a dime stuff under the bed. So dam tight up there its impossible to work under there, the box has to come off. At that time I will shoot the box with red.

Right now, fix the bugs and drive the bitch, that, and Friday night drags are officially open.

I missed tonight, which is fine. But come the 15th we'll see what kind of time this 4.3 will do, I'm not sure if its 1/4 or 1/8th mile.
I took the original owner for ride last night with a power brake start, through first and second gear hard. he was hanging on for dear life (lol).
It runs strong, once it hits the sweet spot in each gear, the pull surprises everyone.

I up loaded these pic last night. This not something I run around with under the truck,
Though it sounds so much quieter this way. (The rumble is driving me crazy)
But anyway, I built this tail pipe section last year to go through DEQ, the emissions test. And yes I used it again this year. I don’t want them crawling under the truck to sniff a tail pipe, or the cats out of the bag.

As you can see, there is no way in hell to get around the busy rear end to even attempt to complete the dual exhaust out the rear . The other pic shows where this contraption dumps so they can sniff tail pipe emission

I knew you did it that way. Still super awesome. I've always loved the cantilever set-up but not to many people do it. Im gonna do it with the coilovers on the rear of my isuzu.

The reason they don't do it is a difficult task to pull off. You can’t just build it under the rig.
Do you remember my card board drawing? It was full scale, you have to know how much travel you have and draw it out. Both in the lowered and up position on the same paper just so you get the correct amount of travel for your shock. Not to mention to keep everything from binding, (if you can recall that one poor kids hacked front end job) you have to have correct geometry. I bet he still hates me, and I’ll bet he’s not driving that truck.

ah yes, i remember the front end job. That hasnt really come up here yet I dont think but im sure it will. People normally want to get rid of the strut bars/ tension rods.
