Winch, Yes, I said it. I am seriously thinking about adding a small winch. I know I know, I need to upgrade the alternator. I want to add a small 3000lb winch. Hidden of course. Anyone on here done this "mod" yet?
Thanks,

I thought the passenger seat was for the winch. :lmao:

I have upgraded alternator to 100amp.

Here is the images of the alts, I had to make changes with the plug since mine was an 86 and had the older style plug in the back. As you can see as well, they moved the fan blades inside the casting.
This is a front and back image of my stock alt view and the 100amp on the right.

87-89 Starion or the 1990 Mitsubishi Van. I picked mine up on Ebay early this year and was a great update. First thing I noticed was Brighter headlights after it was installed. The fit was tight, too close to engine hit the dip stick on the positive post right on the edge where it makes contact if not careful.I placed a rubber boot over it in case I got stupid and didn't disco the battery terminals when messing with it. I also had to get another fan belt which I think was like a 38 1/2, but you need to make your own decision by fitting them. The pulley wheel on alt was different too on certain model alts. One had Serpentine pulley, one had the regular pulley. Be sure you make the right choice when buying. I can almost do some arc welding now right off my alt with 100 amp.

That's a little over the edge MIHIFISI lol. Really the 100amp or what Ragtime said will work just fine. Unless you plan on pulling the Space Shuttle to the launch pad.

I have a 105 amp small case GM alternator from a 4 cyl buick on Geronimo. Not a direct bolton - Friend that put it on for me made custom brackets for me out of the original A/C bracket on the motor.
