Header cross-reference, 2.6 to 2.4 engines

Hey guys, I have found a brand new header being sold by a local private party that the seller says "was purchased to go in my late-80s 2.6 liter ram 50" He crashed the truck and has this NOS part sitting around.

No item number, no marking on it to indicate manufacturer or part number. Are the exhaust ports the same from the 2.6 to the 2.4 engine? I've got a 1991 2.4 Ram50 that it would be cool to put a header on.

I doubt it. The 2.4/4G64 and the 2.6/4G54 engines are 2 different generations of engines. The 4G64 has an oval exhaust port head too...?

nope, the 2.6 is evenly spaced exhaust ports and the 2.4 has paired exhaust ports sorry

Hey guys, thanks for the replies. Looks like it won't work for me. It's on Craigslist in Atlanta.

Seller has updated the listing now to say that it is a Pacesetter brand header. $100.
