Hey everybody. I was wanting some input on a clutch. Mine started slipping and I was gonna go ahead and replace it and be done. I went to rock auto and looked up a clutch for my 85' ram 50 2.0 and it said there was a new oem clutch for $40 . ( I tried to put a link in but couldn't get one.) Would you guys trust the clutch for $40? Have any of you purchased this clutch? Anything? Thanks in advance.

i think you'll be fine with rockauto...as long as you don't put the truck into "heavy useage". ie-http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=10616&thumb=1&d=1404642948 wow prices have hardly changed http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin/attachment.php?attachmentid=9193&d=1397262738 (http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin/album.php?albumid=306&attachmentid=9192)...i have always had great luck with centerforce II. http://www.centerforce.com/products/online-store/mode/filter?brand-id=794083&brand-name=centerforce-i---and---ii-series&sort=name&order=ascending They are NOT fun to have in stop & go traffic (tiring to depress clutch pedal) & if I did a replacement again I would use centerforce I. ps-I still have some of these left: http://www.mightyram50.net/vbulletin/showthread.php/3673-Gasket-Front-Bearing-Retainer-MD703734
