So if you have ever helped me on the forums, here is what you are helping me build, it is defiantly not a show truck, but more for errands and 4 wheeling (4wd would help). In the pictures I post I show my ingenious solution for a window regulator (It was gone when I got it) My one of a kind silver grill (I painted it with a metallic silver spray paint) The passenger side vs the drivers side (Drivers side is all beat up, while the passenger side looks great). And where a dummy pushed my truck out of a mud hole (Again, 4wd would have been nice) because he did not want to get himself muddy. And under the hood, showing my Weber carb, horns (on a relay that receives power all the time), relay for low beams, and my noisy electric fuel pump. And also my BA camper shell I don't have on at the time. (The camper shell was for a long bed, as you can see in the picture, but I recently took the excess off so it actually fits correctly)

With the camper shell set up the way it is, it kinda reminds me of a "shaggin' wagon", lol. ;)
I know I've seen window regulators on eBay, but I can't remember any prices off the top of my head. I don't think it was an insane amount, though, but no one pays me to think. If they did, I'd be flat broke. Wait. I am. Dammit. :(

Yeah, I have seen regulators on the internet in the range of $25.00, and one at the local scrap yard for $20.00 . I have been told numerous times it looks like a "Shaggin' Wagon" But I have actually used it for camping, and I like it alot better than a tent, because this doesn't get blown around by the wind, it has lights, and it is insulated. The only thing I absolutely cannot stand are the plexiglass bubble windows, they are like magnifying glasses, and will burn you up before 9:00 am.
atleast you can lose a little weight from baking in their and get a tan faster...lol

I hear you on that. Forget some damned mosquitoes or flimsy tents. There should be some way to replace the bubble windows with flat ones that doesn't cost an arm and leg.
Also, while looking at your door from the inside, I am reminded of how rediculously easy it is to unlock the doors on our trucks without a key. There's no telling how many times I've used a coat hanger to pop the lock on mine because I locked the keys inside. Quite a design flaw. Only takes about 5 seconds, too.

Yeah, plexiglass is RIDICULOUSLY expensive, I believe the thinnest sheet (I don't remember the dimensions) at The Home Depot is around $20 if I remember correctly, and it will barely make 2 windows. They also sell glass, which is cheaper, but I bet after a day of 2x4in' (4x4ing in a 2wd) those things would probably find themselves broken. The truck this came off was an 80's d50 with a 318, and a custom paint job that said 318 on the side, and the guy wanted to take the tires and wheels off and take it to the scrap yard. Anyway I got the shell for $50, and it was only 2 or 3 miles away. Now I am looking for a short bed truck bed trailer to semi permanently attach the shell to, so when I go camping I can ditch my camper at the site and go exploring without someone taking my spot. The cheapest one I found is a 80's Toyota sr5 for $200

Mounting it on another bed sounds like a good idea. The only thing you'd have to worry about then would be someone stealing it, or one of your buddies pranking you by taking it off somewhere while you're gone. Then again, a good padlock or combination lock would solve that problem... unless they had a pair of bolt cutters. :P

Good point, I could get one of those fancy locks they put on a storage unit when you don't pay your bill :), and/or devise a system so you could lock the emergency brakes on the trailer.

It shouldn't be too hard to create a simple setup. Maybe run the emergency brake cables to a hand brake mounted inside the bed. You'd have to make sure the brakes are nice and free, since it would suck if they decided to stick.
