I'm wanting to update the front of my truck at some point down the road. My '92 bumper and valence is in good shape, but I'd like to put one off of a '93 on it. I just think it would look nicer. I know how the '93 differs from the '92 bumper assembly, just not the mounting points.

What I'd like to know, is how difficult would the swap be? Would the '93 bolt right up, or would there need to be modifications? If so, what are they?

I may be overthinking this a tad much, but any help anyone can give will be greatly appreciated.

Converts right over just get the front reinforcement bar and two front mounts for it to bolt up.

Sweet! I was hoping it would. Thanks very much for the help. If I ever get my finances in order, the bumper swap will be one of the first things I tackle, right after I do away with those god-awful towing mirrors on my truck.

and the two side sport arms too
lights are the same so you can reuse yours or have a pair of extras

The side brackets are the same. I used my side brackets from my 87 on the 93 bumper cover. Matter of fact that's the only brackets I have holding my 93+ bumper cover on

Thanks, guys. I greatly appreciate the info. Hopefully, by the time I get around to doing the swap, I'll have a decent camera so I can post some pics.
