Well I didn't post this truck on the craigslist thread because I was too selfish to share the find. I found this truck about 5 weeks ago and had some friends go and take a look at it. Picked it up out of Idaho and it's currently at my folks place in northern Utah. This truck is mostly original. The hood, tailgate, and wheels were repainted as of 12 months ago and the tonneau cover was also a recent addition from the previous owner. The truck has the G63B motor which I am not familiar with, and the truck odometer reads 240K. For that mileage the truck is really in amazing shape. This is the 2nd Ram 50 I've bought in the past 10 months and this one is for keeps. I looked all over it this last weekend and I couldn't find any rust on it anywhere... whatsoever! Even the frame is still painted black with some chips in places. I paid a whopping $1600 for it. It runs a little rich and the engine has definitely lost some power due to time and wear, but it is really a well maintained truck. I'm excited to start the project. Probably won't have time until after I finish my schooling but I'm still excited for the prospect. In the mean time I'll keep running Wallace. I have the wife's blessing so as soon as I have the set up I'll be putting the hours in. Hopefully by spring of 2016 I can start the process and finish in 10-12 months. I'll keep you all posted.

I wondered that myself once I looked at the picture full sized. I'm back in Nebraska now otherwise I'd look at it more closely. Anyone else know what it is?

That's a coil spring spacer, designed to "lift" coil suspension.

Looks pretty immaculate. A steal at $1600 in that shape, at least in my area...

Good question.
Are you going to keep the 2.0?

When I was visiting family, where the truck is, I drove it all around. It's a fun truck but I don't think I can settle for the lower torque provided with that 2.0. I really love the diesel motor. Why you in the market for a "one clean owner" 2.0?
The motor isn't in bad shape really. Could use a rebuild after the miles it's put in, but I bet it still has some good life in it.
