I guess this is a kit you can order that comes with 2 window regulators, I dont know about the switches though. Seems kind of expensive, you could probably make one yourself for alot less.

If I really wanted power windows I would try this kit. I've heard on other forums it works fairly well:

As small as these trucks are though, it's really not like it's a hassle to reach over and crank up the window.

i have installed a power window sys in an 87 truck
using a set of Toyota truck regulators
witch look like the Summit set
i think i had to mount them upside down to get them to work
i do know you want to use relays to work the moters
i kept burning out switches
i had my set in for 10 years or so
i sut my switches in the center consol
wish i had pix for you

abeemanator - A little over halfway down the page, it says the kit from Summit doesn't come with switches, relays, or a wiring harness. I guess they expect you to use the Force or something to make them work. Or, and this is just a wild guess, they want you to buy the rest separately, so they can make more money off of you, that is, if they sell them at all.
blindeyed - Why power windows for our trucks? 'Cuz we're lazy? :P I'd like to have some because I don't have a console, so I had to get the cupholders that sit on the door sill. Every time I need to roll the window down, I have to move the dang thing or chance knocking it over and spilling my drink everywhere. Not fun. Plus, power windows are cool. ;) That is the lowest priced kit I've seen yet, though. I need to add that to my wish list. Thanks for posting the link.
dmr8x2 - I wish you had some pics, too, as I'd like to see 'em. (Off-topic, I would also like to see how you have your cruise control set up, since I'm planning on getting the same unit.)

I got power window regs from a 1st gen montero - bolt pattern match up with the manual regs. I previously has a normark setup with the adaptors that slip over the shafts of the manual regs, but they are too torquey and make the windows jump quickly when you first hit te switches. I will be putting them in over the winter and will take pics.

From a 1st gen Montero, What years are thoes? Sounds like a cool idea, since I can get some real cheap down at our local scrap yard.

up to 94 I think; I haven't had a chance to look at the ones in the 2nd gen or the sports, as the upullits here haven't had any to look at.

How much did the Montero regulators, switches, etc. cost, including installation, if you don't mind me asking?

I got the regs for 10 or 15 each; the harness, switches, and relays I am reusing my normark power window kit and making the wiring on the motors match - only 2 wires each motor.

Well, that didn't put much of a dent in your wallet. ;) Can't get much cheaper than that. Thanks for sharing, sir.
