ac system

is it rare for a 95 MM to NOT have an AC system? i figure by 95 something like that would become stock but idk. today is the first hot day that i have driven it since i bought it and sweet baby jesus i think i hit my goal weight.
when i got back home i popped the hood and realized there is no compressor, or a place where one would have been.

so did someone claim the whole AC system before i bought it or is it possible this one came without the system to begin with? and if so are there kits out there?

A/C was an option, usually installed at the dealer or the dock, to meet minimum US made content. The kits are available, but can be pricy - the compressor mounting bracket is the piece that's unique for the install - the rest can be gotten in a universal kit for a hot rod install
