Doesn't the 2.4 Efi use a map sensor with the Air flow sensor and the intake air sensor?

I though the worked hand in hand to adjust trim...

It is not listed in the service manual

you either have a map or maf - not both. There is not a map to find on a maf setup motor - the ecm determines the operation of the motor based on the input of the map or maf sensor. some motors work better with one type over other - people switch out fords from maf to map, gms from map to maf

There is only a MAF on this truck. Many later Mitsu engines used both, but it wasn't until around '96

I stand corrected - but I was right that the 91 did not have both.

Thanks for the response. ...I thought most used both for fine tuning if the trim.

Can you put an arrow to the map sensor? That looks identical to my 91 engine

Top right of the pic on the intake manifold.

Trust me, you don't have one unless you have a '96 model year.

So if I get a 96 computer I will need a map sensor?

Yes u less you intend to tune it out somehow.
I don't suggest getting a '96
