Any of you guys paint your dashboards or peices of it? I want to but i dont know if there is a certain paint i should use and how easy it would be to chip afterwards.

Hi stockD50, welcome to mightyram. The secret to getting it to stick is preparation. Give the dash pieces a thorough clean and rub back with fine weta and dry before using a good plastic primer before hitting it with colour or use something like Rustoleum (I've never used it myself as it is not readily available here in Oz but it seems a lot of guys recommend it). It is paint and will chip given a decent hit or something rubbing against it.
You could always have a go at hydroprinting as well. Not as cheap or easy as paint but very cool...

Recolouring the dash padding will require a thorough cleaning as well, then use of a penetrating vinyl colour spray like VHT. I pulled the complete dash apart on my L200, sprayed the dash padding with sugar soap, scrubbed it in then pressure cleaned it. This removed any traces of armourall or silicon spray treatments. Go light on the first few coats to let the vinyl spray to bite before giving it a solid even coat.
