Mechanical Fuel Pump psi?

does anyone know the psi of a mechanical fuel pump on a 2.0 carbed engine? i installed a brand new one last night and just using the starter to turn the engine (carb was off) i was getting between 3-4 psi does that sound right?

I think it might be around 8 or so but its been a long time since I had a mechanical pump and carbed engine.

sounds good to me. You can look in the manual section. a link to a factory manual is there. It should have it.
