4d55T Rebuild Kit Question

Does anyone know where to get a rebuild kit for the 4d55t? The only good kit I can seem to find is a federal mogul from the Philippines on Ebay.

Ebay seems to be the place. That's where I got mine, so far so good.

John- what brand did you get? Zaque- I've also been looking into getting a rebuild kit for mine. Some people say they have bad luck with the ebay kits but it's possible they made mistakes during the install. I think i will end up choosing the federal mogul kit also as I do not see any other options.

I dont remember, it was from China. Its got 16,000 mi on it. You can get OEM oversized pistons, and have a machinist re-bore, as long as there is enough of the sleeve left. I had a machinist put the engine together, he was very meticulous with measurements. Someone doing it in their garage probably wont have all the right tools, and therefore will lead to internal problems.
