I was looking for Eclipse parts on Craigslist and stumbled across a 2.4l crank, the guy said you can put a 2.4l crank in a 2.0 and make it a 2.3l stroker, would that work on a G63B engine also? I thought that could be a cool little performance upgrade.

You can with custom rods and or pistons. Not a cheap option but worthwhile for big HP builds.

Yup eclipse 4g63 is basically the exact same block minus oil squirters. But as stated would need custom rods and pistons

The next question would be what rods and positions. It might just be worth it. What condition is the crank in? Is it still standard? If so you might be on to somthing good.

It's been done many, many times just do a DSM forum search for information overload. Wiseco makes a good piston for the setup where you can use stock rods but you sacrifice some rod/stroke ratio. There will also have to be some clearancing done to keep the crank from hitting some of the casting inside the block. Some of the more high end kits come with pistons and rods to get a more favorable rod stroke ratio.
