Hi guys, i'm fixing the 4wd lights And i dont know how the -wheel lock- light on the Dashboard works.
Looking behind the cluster, i saw that the light has a blue/white wire but where's connected that wire? I mean, maybe in a sensor or switch located on the hubs or front diff?
Thanks in advance guys...

Same. I hate having to roll backwards to engage, especially when your are boxed in by snow on all sides. SOmetimes my light goes off and comes back on...
Any Help?

There's a little box on the passenger side just under the ECU. That controls the 4WD lights. It's based on sensors in the transfer case. There's no sensors on the hubs themselves. I'll try to scan the service manual pages tonight. It's a fairly simple circuit.

thank you so much guys...
so basically the wheel lock light turns on with a sensor on the transfer case (pulse generator) any pics of it?
IMPORTANT: My car doesn't have the stock G54B engine and tranny, it has a D4BX hyundai, and I also swap the tranny and the transfer case . The T. case doesn't have that "pulse generator"... and searching behind the dash there's a plug (dont remember the number of pins) but there isn't any black box... and my car doesnt have ECU (becaause of the year, 1988)
