Was driving and turned the heat on. As soon as i flipped the fan on, something blew and the truck died. I attempted to roll start it while i still had speed. Nothing. Head lights, signals, brake lights still works. Radio, cab light, igntion does not work.

I visually checked all of my fuses (including the ones under the hood) and they all looked fine.

In addition to this, my voltage meter takes a big hit every time i use an accessory. Had the battery and alternator checked at auto zone and they both checked out. Maybe a voltage regulator issue?

I might add that the previous owner of this truck was a fan of using duct-tape in the place of electrical tape.

What do you guys think? Any suggestions?

Thanks.
